New Life

A little less than 2 months ago we bred our little Maltese, Princess Bella, with another pure-bred named Killer. And last night, as she furiously tried to dig her way to China through our bedroom floor, I knew that she was close to having those puppies. Her temperature had dropped by about 2 degrees and she was nesting fervently.

Long Story Short, we now have 3 babies in the house. 1 little girl and 2 little boys, and Bella is a wonderful Mother. It was amazing to watch the process of this little doggie give birth, and as I was walking through the kitchen after rushing the kids to school, I felt a familiar, sweet, peace. I instantly recognized that feeling as the sweetness that came into our home each time we welcomed one of our own children into this world. It was the same, part of me thinks that that feeling would have been less poignant, but it wasn't. And I'm grateful today for the living testimony that three tiny little lives have reminded me of God's love of all of His creations.

Enjoy the pictures. More will come as the puppies grow. Oh yes, and they will be ready for their FOREVER homes by Christmas. :)
